Internship
For students in the Tourism Management Programme, internship is not merely a graduation requirement; it is also an important stage of professional development in which the theoretical knowledge and approaches acquired during their studies are applied in a professional work environment. During this process, students have the opportunity to observe the dynamic structure of the tourism industry, gain sectoral experience, build professional networks, and further develop their competencies.
The Department places importance on developing cooperation with companies, institutions, and organizations in the tourism industry in order to support students in progressing toward their career goals in an informed and purposeful manner. These collaborations contribute to students' professional experience before graduation and help them become more familiar with the working environment of the sector.
60working days of compulsory internship
Within the Tourism Management Undergraduate Programme, students are required to complete a total of 60 working days of compulsory internship during their undergraduate studies. The internship experience is designed to support students in applying their academic knowledge in professional settings and making a more prepared transition into working life.
Purpose of the Internship
The internship process supports students in strengthening the connection between theoretical knowledge
and practice, becoming familiar with professional working environments, gaining sectoral experience,
and shaping their career planning in a more informed manner.
